Camille Rojot
Camille RojotOrigem co-founder
Always ready to listen and driven, Camille is passionate about Human-Nature synergies. She worked for 8 years in the CSR field both as technical expert and as a project manager. All along her carrier she focused on developing responsible products especially in the farming and food sectors.

She is particularly interested in finding solutions for consumers’ goods and commodities from sustainable farming : environmental strategies and innovation in the living sector (food, bio-fuels, ingredients and bio-sourced materials) as well as consideration towards food sustainability (she took part in working groups with INRA and ADEME).

Before founding Origem, Camille was a manager in the Sustainable Development department at PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers). She led and managed CSR consulting missions for about 7 years.

She supported companies and federations who wanted to integrate CSR in their product strategy:

  • Eco-design
  •  Environmental assessments (Lifecycle assessment, carbon footprint)
  •  Communication and responsible labelling
  • Impacts externalities
  • Food (Bel Group, Carrefour, Yeast and starch trade federation),
  • Biofuels (Sofiprotéol, SNPAAFederation),
  • Cosmetics (LVMH, Sephora, Pierre Fabre, Beauty Sector Trade Federation)
  • Bio-sourced packaging & materials (TetraPak, SPhere, Ondef)
  • Energy (Alstom)

Camille was also in charge of support missions for public policies related to responsible products marketing:

  • Energy-using Products (European Commission)
  • Environmental labeling of consumer goods (ADEME)
  • Eco-design tools (Eco-packaging)

Worked in several foreign countries:  Latin America and Europe.

Camille graduated as an agronomist at Agro Paris in 2007. During her studies, she focused on support for development in Southern countries.

For one year, she worked for the CIRAD on green intensification in rice production in Madagascar and on access to water in peri-urban areas in Sao Paulo. It led her to being even more aware of the fragile balance of natural resources.

Camille completed her training in the Carrefour Group where she focused on improving the social and environmental performance of their retailer’s brands through suppliers’ assessments and responsible procurement.
